Sipnosis
La comunidad sobreviviente se prepara para irse de la ciudad de Atlanta luego de que sus dos últimos asilos los redujeran en número y pusieran en peligro sus vidas. Deciden ir a Fort Benning. No obstante el viaje se retrasa cuando Sophia se pierde en la zona y Carl cae accidentalmente herido por un balazo de parte de un cazador llamado Otis. Afortunadamente la granja en la que vive Otis está cerca, donde Hershel Greene, el patriarca de la familia que integra gran parte de la comunidad, ayuda a salvar la vida de Carl. Proceso durante el cual Shane termina asesinando a Otis para dejarlo como carnada para los caminantes y así el poder ganar tiempo para escapar. Claro que al regresar a la granja el cuenta una historia muy diferente en la cual Otis queda como mártir mientras que Shane queda como un héroe. Negándose a abandonar a una desaparecida Sophia, Rick lidera la comunidad a buscar a la niña mientras se quedan en la granja de los Greene. Sin embargo esa familia parece ocultarle a la comunidad algo, y es que esconden caminantes en un granero, de lo cual Glenn se percata y avisa al resto del grupo. Shane empieza el ataque contra los caminantes, se le unen los demás del grupo y matan a todos los caminantes escondidos; al final Sophia aparece como un zombi y Rick la mata.
